Tales From Gorilla Girl, the book, is a labor of love that I have been working on for nearly 35 years!  My mom encouraged me to write down my experiences at the Cincinnati Zoo in 1970. I wrote off and on, (mostly off!) until I joined The Southern Oregon Writers Group. I was encouraged to write more often. However, it was the documentary about my life, "Gorilla Girl" (by Heartisan Films) scheduled to premiere in 2019, that gave me the push to finish! Through the stories written within these pages, readers will gain insights into the incredible world of non-human animals and how to treat them with the love and compassion they deserve.
