I couldn't be more proud of Antonio Melendez and Rob Grobman, the directors at Heartisan Films. Their doucumentary about my life, Gorilla Girl, captured the essence of my heart's message for animal awareness. As someone who has spent my career striving to give meaning to the lives of captive animals, it has taken a toll on my heart. However, this film has made it all worthwhile and I am forever grateful to Heartisan Films. Seeing the reactions from audiences has been incredibly touching. It contains powerful evidence of the deep emotional and intellectual capacities or our non-human animal kin.
